       CONDITIONS OF ENTRIES

·    Maximum number of works per entrant is 3

·    Maximum size per work: 400cm around outside edge.

·    Sections entered. All works will automatically be considered for Section H. Works entered in Section H may also be entered in other sections

·    All works must be for sale, except portraits.

·    Identification. Mark the work’s back top right corner with your name, telephone number, section entered, title, and price.

·    Presentation. Works must be properly framed and hung by D hooks or staples.

·    Provenance. Only original work, not previously exhibited at an HAS ART AWARD, will be accepted.

·    The Judge’s decision will be final.

·    Commission will be 25% of sale price.

·    Every care taken but no liability accepted by HAS for loss or damage to works . Owners risk

 

SECTIONS AND PRIZES

 

·    H.  HORNSBY SHIRE COUNCIL AWARD-  Any medium- a subject that is recognizable as a feature of life in the Shire. The prize is acquisitive and will go towards the establishment of a local Art collection. $ 1500

·    A.   NORTH SHORE ART SUPPLIES. Prize for best oil or acrylic painting. $ 200 cash+ $ 200    worth of Art materials.

·    D    CHROMA AUSTRALIA AWARD FOR BEST DRAWING, PASTEL, OR PRINT. $ 200. Art material

·    N KEVIN BEST AWARD for the best work in mixed media$400 

·    W    ECKERSLEY Pty Ltd AWARD for the best water colour or gouache painting. $ 200 Art   Material.

·P   Q Framing- 14 Railway, Thornleigh for the best photographic, or computer generated print. . $ 200 framing value

.    PC  WESTFIELD'S PEOPLE CHOICE AWARD  $ 400 voucher to be spent at Hornsby's Westfield Shopping Centre

 

ENTRY FEE-  $ 8 for members and $12 for non members, per work.

(WILL BE OFFICIALLY OPENED BY MAYOR OF HORNSBY ,  Mr John Muirhead).
